The No. 16 ranked Arizona State Sun Devils drop their third game in a row to finish its road series with a 65-55  loss to the USC Trojans in Los Angeles.

ASU and USC were neck to neck for most of the first half, but the Trojans blew by the Sun Devils in the second half.

USC was feeling it in the third quarter and its buzzer beating and-one three-pointer gave them all the momentum entering the final quarter where they outscored ASU by 10.

This take down is only the Trojans third win against a Pac-12 opponent while Arizona State drops to 5-5 in conference play.

Although the Sun Devils did get seven steals and a block, they still allowed the Trojans to shoot 54 percent from the field and get 40 points in the paint.

On the other hand, Arizona State struggled to score throughout the game. They shot 38 percent from the field, got blocked six times and shot a dreadful 22 percent from behind the arc.

Player of the game: Sadie Edwards

The USC guard was feeling it as she scored 17 points on only 7-8 shots from the field.

Biggest concern: Turnovers

Arizona State struggled to control the ball giving up many possessions as USC forced 18 turnovers in the game.

Stat of the night: 38-24

The game was very close in the first half as Arizona State lead by one entering halftime. However, USC went on a scoring tear and ending up outscoring the Sun Devils 38-24 in the final two quarters.

What’s next: The Beavers

Arizona State will return home to Tempe and face the conference leading No. 11 ranked Oregon State Beavers. The Sun Devils will be hoping for a big bounce back game against the top ranked Beavers to end its now three game losing streak. The Beavers will be in Tempe Friday February 3 and tip off will be at 4 p.m. MST at the Wells Fargo Arena.
