For the third consecutive season, the Arizona State volleyball team will be playing in the NCAA Tournament.

The No. 22 Sun Devils will square off against Texas A&M in College Station, Texas in the first round.

The Aggies are coming off a 21-8 season that included key wins over USC and then-No. 16 Kentucky. Texas A&M is led by All-SEC middle blockers Jazzmin Babers and Shelby Sullivan, as well as, All-SEC Freshman Team selections in setter Stephanie Aiple and opposite Ashlie Reasor.

This will be the Aggies’ fifth post-season appearance in the last six years, but they haven’t advanced past the second round since 2009.

ASU lost in five sets to Oklahoma in 2012 and then lost another five-set match to BYU last season, so the Sun Devils will be looking to clear that first-round obstacle.

The Sun Devils are also one of 10 total Pac-12 teams in the NCAA Tournament — the most of any conference.

Currently, the game is set for Thursday at 4:30 p.m., but that is subject to change.

WCSN will have more on the match and what to expect throughout the week, including previews and analysis of the tournament matchup.
